Celebration of 150 Years of Mahatma
Celebration of World Vegetarian Day and 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 01 October 2019
As part of the celebration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, and also to mark the World Vegetarian Day, the Embassy of India in association with the Danish Vegetarian Association, is organizing events on 01 October, 2019 in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense.
The events will focus on how the use of lentils, chickpeas and other legumes in Indian dishes can inspire Danish eating habits. Samples of delicious Indian vegetarian food will also be on offer.

Cycling for Peace
Cycling is fun as well as a sustainable way of getting around. To mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Embassy of India, Copenhagen, invites you for an event, 'Cycling for Peace', in Fælledparken, Copenhagen. The cycling will be followed by an informal discussion on Gandhiji's contribution on sustainability.
Please bring your own bike. Snacks will be served.
